Sales Lead – Partnerships, Sponsorships & Revenue

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Lead to own and grow the revenue streams for the Caribbean Cannabis & Tourism Summit, our magazine, and the year‑round platform. The role combines hands‑on deal closing with building and managing a commission‑based sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive summit sponsorship and exhibitor sales.
• Sell magazine advertising and branded‑content opportunities.
• Manage ticket packages, group sales and strategic partnership activations.
• Set sales targets, build pipelines, implement outreach systems and produce regular reporting.
• Recruit, onboard and lead commission‑based sales representatives.
• Collaborate closely with the founder, programming and operations teams.
• Provide recommendations on team expansion and sales strategy, with final approval by the founder.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event sponsorship, media advertising, hospitality, tourism or cannabis‑related sales.
• Track record of closing high‑value partnership or sponsorship deals.
• Experience managing salespeople, pipelines and CRM tools.
• Highly organized, persuasive and commercially minded.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment.
