Sales Support Specialist

About the role

The Sales Support Specialist provides real‑time phone assistance to sales teams, ensuring orders are entered accurately and fall within serviceable territories. This role acts as a bridge between customers, sales representatives, and internal systems to resolve order‑related issues quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and resolve new order escalations from Residential and Business sales teams.
• Determine address serviceability in real time and create new addresses in billing software.
• Maintain and administer order entry databases to ensure smooth order processing.
• Track escalations, identify root causes, and follow standard procedures.
• Respond to customer escalations before service installation, adhering to departmental guidelines.
• Provide immediate feedback to sales reps on order entry errors.
• Beta test new sales tools and system enhancements.
• Support order entry fallout across all sales channels.
• Assist new builds by updating customers and sales reps during survey and construction phases.
• Contact customers for various campaign initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Experience in a fast‑paced call‑center environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems independently.
• Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
