Security, Investigations and Risk Manager

About the role

The Security, Investigations and Risk Manager leads enterprise security, investigations, brand protection and risk management for J. Wray & Nephew. The role safeguards people, products, assets and profitability across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution sites in Jamaica.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise security risk assessments, prioritize high‑impact risks and develop mitigation strategies for physical assets, people and supply‑chain integrity.
• Own the insurance review process, manage relationships with brokers and oversee claim handling for non‑personnel incidents.
• Set strategic direction for physical security, electronic systems, guard forces and security technology, ensuring effective access control, CCTV, key and seal management.
• Direct investigations of theft, fraud, counterfeit rum and other loss events, preserving evidence and tracking corrective actions to closure.
• Provide oversight for AEO, Food Defense, Food Fraud and related regulatory compliance, maintaining audit readiness.
• Lead, coach and develop the security team, manage the functional budget and drive continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in corporate security, loss prevention, risk management or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, supply‑chain or regulated environments and familiarity with brand protection and security certifications.
• Strong partnership skills with finance, supply‑chain, legal, HR, EHS and external law‑enforcement agencies.
