Senior Digital Transformation Consultant

About the role

Reporting to the Chef de Cabinet and working closely with the Senior Adviser on Strategic Initiatives, the Senior Digital Transformation Consultant will provide senior strategic leadership and client‑side oversight for Phase 0 and Phase I of the ISA website transformation programme. The role bridges organisational leadership, internal business and technical teams, external stakeholders and the appointed digital agency to ensure the transformation aligns with institutional priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the selection, onboarding and mobilisation of the website redesign agency, providing independent technical and strategic advice throughout the procurement process.
• Act as the Secretariat’s strategic counterpart to the agency, overseeing deliverables, progress, risks and scope changes.
• Lead strategic coordination across Phase 0 and Phase I, ensuring alignment of agency and internal activities with programme objectives.
• Provide strategic direction to embed the website transformation within the ISA’s broader institutional goals, defining scope, requirements and a phased digital roadmap.
• Oversee stakeholder consultation and user research, ensuring representative engagement and translation of findings into the website strategy.
• Facilitate governance and decision‑making, translating institutional priorities into clear digital requirements and documenting decisions.
• Guide content management and migration strategy, advising on governance, editorial workflows, metadata standards and multilingual requirements.
• Provide oversight of the technical approach, reviewing CMS, architecture, APIs, cybersecurity, hosting, analytics and accessibility recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading digital transformation or website redesign programmes.
• Strong background in procurement, agency selection and client‑side oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, technical teams and external partners.
• Experience with governance, risk management and strategic decision‑making in complex organisations.
