Store Associate – Retail Sales

About the role

The Store Associate role is vital to the success of our Sherwin‑Williams retail location on Windward Road. You will interact directly with wholesale and retail customers, helping them find the right paint solutions while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in‑person and over the phone, identifying needs and recommending appropriate products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
• Maintain precise work order files, pull products from the floor or warehouse, and mix paints to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves, set up displays, and keep the store, office, and warehouse tidy.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, assist with deliveries, and ensure assigned areas remain well‑presented.
• Stay up‑to‑date on product features and inventory control procedures.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent academic qualification.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb frequently and up to 70 lb occasionally.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• For internal candidates, a recent performance rating of “meets expectations” or higher.

• Knowledge of product mixing and inventory management.
