Student Affairs Officer – Western Campus

About the role

The Student Affairs Officer on the Western Campus supports the transition of students to university life and contributes to student recruitment and retention targets under the direction of the Director of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate programmes that engage students, connect them with alumni and stakeholders, and support welfare initiatives such as the earn‑and‑learn and PATH programmes.
• Maintain student records, respond to queries, and liaise with the Students’ Union, Alumni Coordinator and other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to recruitment and retention.
• Administer awards, scholarships and fellowship applications, verify completeness of student files, and manage health‑insurance form distribution.
• Prepare reports, correspondence and manage electronic and manual databases while safeguarding confidential student information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar student affairs or administrative role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
