Warehouse Checker – Shift Based

About the role

Celebration Brands Limited, the premier sales and distribution company for beverages in Jamaica, is looking for a diligent Warehouse Checker to join its St. Ann distribution centre. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Checker will be responsible for verifying all inventory movements in and out of the warehouse and posting daily transaction records. The role ensures accurate records and supports the company’s commitment to excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile records by shift where applicable to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of the warehouse environment to identify and address hazards.
• Post daily receipts, debit notes and other warehouse transactions into the system promptly.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers according to CBL warehousing processes, ensuring correct handling of goods.
• Assist in preparing and completing all required warehouse reports.
• Follow all company policies and safety requirements as prescribed for the role.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience working in a warehousing environment.
• Minimum of five passes in CXC or CAPE examinations.
• High integrity and ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate inventory controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
