AML / KYC Analyst, Financial Crime

About the role

PwC's Financial Crime Operations team in Kingston is looking for an AML / KYC Analyst at administrative level. You will work with colleagues from around the world on operational solutions for clients' regulatory, risk and compliance needs, within Financial Crime Operations, Customer Management and Compliance Testing. The role sits in a training framework tailored to your skills and career goals.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out AML / KYC reviews of customer files using information from the public domain and from clients and customers.
• Monitor customer transactions and identify suspicious behaviour to understand customer activity.
• Respond to requests for KYC documents by conducting due diligence reviews for low, medium and high risk customers.
• Manage your own workload and meet daily, monthly productivity and quality targets.
• Update metrics trackers and client and workflow systems accurately and on time.
• Work with peers, team leaders and managers to improve client and PwC efficiency.
• Adapt quickly to new or changing processes and build relationships with team members and client teams.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; a bachelor's degree is an asset.
• Experience in AML / KYC is an asset; willingness to learn is also valued.
• Ability to manage own performance and meet targets in a fast-paced, pressured environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of regulatory developments and issues affecting regulated firms.
• Attention to detail, quality focus and ability to follow strict processes.
• Proven KYC / AML experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
