Collections Specialist

About the role

itel is hiring a full-time Collections Specialist in Montego Bay. The role supports applicants in verifying their eligibility and processing loan requests, with a high incentive package and the option to earn extra.

Key responsibilities

• Review, qualify and process loan applications
• Explain the types of loans and credit options available, as well as their terms
• Check loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy
• Correspond with applicants to improve applications and answer questions
• Update documentation as requested and provide courteous, enthusiastic service
• Maintain product knowledge and resolve issues, while following company policies and procedures

Required profile

• Minimum 3 CXC passes including English A
• Prior call center experience is a plus
• Willing to work onsite and on a schedule between 6:30 am and 10:00 pm
• Flexible to work any 5 days between Monday and Saturday, with Saturdays mandatory and public holidays included
