Gardener – Level 1 (Entry Level)

About the role

We are seeking a Gardener – Level 1 to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the National Land Agency’s compound. The role involves routine garden upkeep, waste removal and ensuring the grounds remain tidy at all times. The Gardener will work under the supervision of the Administrator and collaborate with other facilities staff to provide a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of the agency’s compound, including litter collection and removal.
• Maintain lawns, flower beds, and landscaped areas through mowing, trimming and watering.
• Assist with basic horticultural tasks such as planting, pruning and fertilising as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
• Support seasonal planting projects and special events.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards observed on the grounds to the Administrator.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary school.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical fitness to perform manual labour.
• Reliability and punctuality.
