Groundsman – Facility & Landscape Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Groundsman to keep our compound clean, tidy, and visually appealing. The role involves daily upkeep of outdoor areas, waste management, and basic horticultural tasks to ensure a pleasant environment for staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the compound using tools such as a weed blower and rake.
• Dispose of rubbish promptly in designated bins and empty bins at the skip daily.
• Keep the skip area organized and free of debris.
• Remove and organize items from branch storage areas as needed.
• Perform grass cutting bi‑monthly or more frequently when required.
• Trim and maintain trees and flowers to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Supply water to administrative and storage buildings on a daily basis.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned customer areas within stores.

Required profile

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
• Willingness to work beyond regular hours on occasion and alternate weekends.
• Resilience to mental stress associated with physical work environments.

Required skills

• Operation of weed blower.
• Operation of grass cutter.
• Use of rake and basic landscaping tools.
