Hotel Director

About the role

As Hotel Director you will lead the overall operation of a large‑scale all‑inclusive resort, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while driving financial and people performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Maintenance and more.
• Manage budgets, operational costs, staffing plans, capital expenditures and revenue‑optimization initiatives.
• Monitor and improve key business indicators such as guest satisfaction, occupancy, profitability and sustainability metrics.
• Lead, engage and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, public authorities and guests, acting as the hotel’s ambassador.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations, sustainability commitments and corporate policies.

Required profile

• University degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field; postgraduate qualification in Hotel Management is a plus.
• More than five years of experience in international hotel leadership roles, preferably in large‑scale Caribbean all‑inclusive resorts.
• Proven track record managing hotel budgets, operational performance and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are an asset.
• Strategic mindset, strong leadership, customer focus and results‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations including Rooms Division, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Spa, Maintenance and Health & Safety.
• Experience with financial management, budgeting and revenue optimization in a hospitality context.
