Medical Representative - Kingston Area

About the role

This is a field-based medical representative position covering the Kingston area. The purpose is to promote the prescription and recommendation of products from the assigned product line so that sales objectives and the company's strategic priorities are met. The role involves frequent travel across the territory and occasional weekend or after-hours work for events or client meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare providers, emphasizing their advantages and benefits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and design strategies to retain and develop new prescribers.
• Ensure proper product visibility and availability in the assigned territory.
• Take part in marketing campaigns, product launches and medical events, and visit healthcare professionals to introduce and maintain products.
• Prepare daily reports on medical visits and CRM activity for the area leader, and plan schedules for visits, panel meetings and travel expenses.
• Stay up to date on the technical information of the products and on the main competitors.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Nursing, Psychology, Chemistry or a similar science discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of medical experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals or healthcare; a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sales environment is preferred.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
