Part-time Childcare Assistant

About the role

This part‑time position supports the daily operations of The Sandbox childcare program, providing a safe and engaging environment for children during the late‑afternoon hours.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise children inside and outside the classroom, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain open communication with full‑time teachers and keep families informed.
• Restock classroom supplies and perform light cleaning after the last child leaves at 5:30 pm.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma required.
• Preferred completion of EDU 119 (not mandatory).
