Part‑Time Afternoon Teacher’s Assistant (Early Learning Center)

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable part‑time Teacher’s Assistant to support our early learning classrooms during the afternoon shift (1 pm–6 pm). The position is within a Christian ministry environment, serving children from infants through kindergarten (K‑4).

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in delivering age‑appropriate activities and lessons.
• Provide direct care for infants to K‑4 students, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organize materials, and support daily routines.
• Model Christian values and help foster a loving, respectful community.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification in ITS‑SIDS and current CPR/First Aid.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet North Carolina childcare regulations.
• Strong commitment to a faith‑based, child‑centered environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of infant and early‑childhood care practices.
• Ability to follow safety and health protocols.
