Part‑Time Afternoon Teacher’s Assistant (Early Learning)

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable part‑time Teacher’s Assistant to support our early‑learning classrooms during the afternoon shift. This position works within a Christian ministry environment, providing a safe and nurturing setting for children from infancy through kindergarten.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities for infants to K‑4.
• Supervise children during play, meals, and rest periods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child‑friendly environment.
• Support the implementation of age‑appropriate educational programs.
• Communicate with parents and staff about children’s needs and progress.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Christian faith and willingness to share Christ’s love.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet North Carolina childcare regulations.
• Availability for the 1 pm‑6 pm shift, Monday‑Friday.

Required skills

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• ITS‑SIDS certification (Infant‑Toddler Safe Sleep).
