Senior Technical Advisor – Bakery & Pastry

About the role

Puratos is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to support customers in Jamaica with bakery, pastry and chocolate product knowledge. The role involves advising, training and demonstrating product applications to drive sales while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on product use, applications, yields, costing and presentation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, trials and training sessions at customer sites or Innovation Centers.
• Prepare work plans, technical reports and training materials.
• Respond to customer inquiries, complaints and suggest new product applications.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in Food Technology, Bakery, Pastry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of health legislation, food safety and machinery handling.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Pastry and bakery product preparation and chocolate handling.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
