Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities comply with client service agreements and internal standards. You will lead a team to manage inventory from receipt through delivery while maintaining a safe, organized, and cost‑effective environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise weekly warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to good storage practices and client‑defined indicator goals.
• Maintain communication channels with clients, supervisors, and internal departments through reports, meetings, and performance indicators.
• Oversee inventory control from receipt to final delivery, following established procedures and using SAP, AS/400, or WMS systems.
• Conduct daily operational meetings, set and evaluate personnel objectives, and generate required operational reports.
• Ensure the warehouse area follows the 5S methodology, provides a healthy and safe workplace, and meets BASC V.6‑2022 internal audit standards.
• Identify non‑conformities, propose improvements, and collaborate with the Sub‑Manager to control associated costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar supervisory functions.
• Strong personnel management, organization, planning, and results‑orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management systems such as SAP, AS/400, and WMS.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of storage, inventory, and distribution processes.
• Familiarity with BASC Internal Auditor V.6‑2022 standards.
