Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee the flow of containers through the warehouse, ensuring timely unloading, returns, and compliance with customs and tax regulations. You will act as a liaison between brokers, customs agencies, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise unloading times and container returns in the warehouse.
• Verify tax payments and supplier documentation.
• Prepare monthly service statistics and operational reports.
• Send, receive, and track documentation from brokers.
• Manage pre‑alerts from various origins and coordinate container transport to stations.
• Prepare letters, applications, and permits required by customs.
• Follow up with customs brokers and clerks on clearance processes.
• Report operational eventualities within agreed timeframes.
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain communication with customs and state agencies.
• Create job orders and enter data into operational logs.
• Detect and report non‑conformities to drive improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, maritime cargo, or customs coordination.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, customs processes, and tariffs.
