Temporary Delivery Supervisor

About the role

Celebration Brands Limited, a joint venture between Red Stripe and Pepsi Cola Jamaica serving as a sales and distribution company for beverages across Jamaica, is looking for a temporary Delivery Supervisor based in Mandeville. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, the supervisor oversees the delivery process according to the guidelines set out in PEX, coordinates route assignments and helps sustain the delivery effectiveness rate set by CBL.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and weekly delivery schedules and daily route assignments
• Schedule daily morning meetings
• Liaise with third-party contractors so that all routes are fully manned each day
• Manage verification of rejection reasons from logbooks
• Carry out weekly trade visits and once-a-week route accompaniment
• Review delivery performance with the sales team and distribution centre manager weekly
• Take part in weekly LCM and WPM
• Validate the integrity of vehicles used for delivery
• Increment the delivery effectiveness and minimize the cost of distribution

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Knowledge of the Savanna La Mar area, its streets and roads

Required skills

• Full knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
• Strong numerical ability
