Audit Manager – Assurance Team

About the role

EY Jamaica is seeking an Audit Manager to join its External Audit team. You will lead audit engagements across the Caribbean, providing independent financial statement reviews, constructive discussions with management, and clear insights for audit committees.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures, focusing on complex or specialized issues.
• Plan engagement objectives and audit strategy in line with professional standards and risk considerations.
• Develop deep understanding of client industries, performance drivers, and emerging trends.
• Identify and implement opportunities to standardise and optimise assurance processes.
• Monitor engagement progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Lead, coach and delegate work to a team of Seniors and Associates, conducting performance reviews and providing training.
• Leverage technology to enhance service delivery and share knowledge within the team.
• Generate new business opportunities and maintain long‑term client relationships.
