Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Construction & Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the strategic growth, operational performance, and long‑term value creation of a diversified construction and real‑estate business. The CEO will own the organisation’s strategy, P&L, business development, construction operations, real‑estate investment and people leadership, reporting directly to the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑, medium‑, and long‑term corporate strategy, driving expansion across construction, property development and real‑estate investment.
• Take full ownership of the company’s P&L, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and capital allocation to improve margins and return on invested capital.
• Provide executive oversight of the construction portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, to specification and in compliance with standards.
• Lead identification, acquisition, development and commercialization of real‑estate opportunities, managing land acquisition, feasibility, approvals, construction, sales/leasing and asset disposition.
• Develop and execute business development and commercial growth strategies, forging strategic partnerships and new market opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven senior executive experience in construction, property development, real‑estate investment or related sectors.
• Demonstrated track record of scaling businesses and managing large, complex project portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing P&L, budgeting, forecasting and capital planning.
• Ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and drive organisational performance.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder management, board reporting and strategic partnership development.
