Investigations Manager – Loss Prevention & Brand Protection

About the role

The Investigations Manager leads objective, timely investigations into loss events, theft, fraud, misconduct, security breaches, procedural violations and illicit brand activities, protecting people, assets and profitability across J. Wray & Nephew sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations into theft, fraud, misconduct, procedural breaches, security breaches, loss events, inventory discrepancies and brand protection matters.
• Develop investigation plans, conduct interviews, review CCTV, access‑control and vehicle‑tracking records, gather evidence and produce factual reports.
• Identify root causes, control gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain and site leaders.
• Lead illicit/counterfeit rum trade investigations, partner with law‑enforcement, customs and other agencies, and conduct field visits.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in investigations, corporate security, loss prevention, law enforcement or related fields.
• Experience conducting interviews, handling sensitive evidence and working with law‑enforcement or regulatory bodies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, Criminal Justice or related discipline (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PCI, CFE, CPP, PSP or equivalent (preferred).

Required skills

• Investigation techniques, interviewing, statement taking and evidence handling.
• Case management, incident trend analysis and root‑cause analysis.
• Review of CCTV, access‑control, vehicle‑tracking and other digital records.
• Knowledge of AEO, Food Defense, seal/key controls and audit practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data analysis and report preparation.
