Bank Teller – Tropical Plaza Branch

About the role

Join the Branch Operations team at Sagicor Bank Jamaica as a Teller at the Tropical Plaza location. You will provide professional, attentive service to clients while handling a wide range of core banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, RTGS/Wire Transfers, ACH, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Issue and encash drafts, manager’s cheques, and traveller’s cheques.
• Handle credit‑card and bill payments, and other non‑cash transactions such as fund transfers and fee reversals.
• Maintain vault and treasury duties, including cash verification, shipment preparation, and excess cash collection.
• Balance and image cheques for clearing, file processed work, and dispatch documents to verification units.
• Promote bank products and services, identify client needs, and refer clients to appropriate sales channels.
• Ensure compliance with client experience standards, POCA regulations, and internal transaction reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of teller functions and POCA regulations is an advantage.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong time‑management skills.
• Professional demeanor, honesty, integrity, and effective communication.
