HEART Trainee – Culture & People Experience

About the role

We are looking for a motivated school‑leaver to join the Culture & People Experience Unit as a HEART Trainee. The role provides administrative support to ensure a superior employee experience and contributes to the company’s high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Review and respond to employment verification requests, P24 & P45 queries.
• Process name‑tag requests, resignation acknowledgements and schedule exit interviews.
• Prepare and dispatch various HR letters (maternity, paternity, sick leave, transfers, secondments, etc.).
• Maintain databases of dispatched letters and track health‑benefit follow‑ups.
• Send contract extension reminders, condolence, commendation and anniversary communications.
• Assist with general queries from staff and external parties.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Culture & People Experience Officers.

Required profile

• Six or more CXC/GCE “O” level subjects, including English and a numeric subject.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Strong data‑entry abilities.
