Sales Representative – FMCG Merchandiser

About the role

OCA Island Vending and Supplies Ltd. is looking for a motivated and results‑driven Sales Representative to join its FMCG distribution team. You will work on the field, visiting supermarkets, wholesalers and other retail outlets across Montego Bay and surrounding areas to ensure our products are well displayed, stocked and promoted.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail outlets on a regular route and build strong relationships with store owners, managers and buyers.
• Merchandise company products to achieve attractive displays, optimal shelf positioning and maximum visibility.
• Monitor stock levels, identify out‑of‑stock, slow‑moving, damaged or expired items.
• Increase product distribution, shelf space and facings within assigned outlets.
• Take orders and actively generate sales from existing and new customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing and promotions.
• Implement promotional activities, point‑of‑sale materials and negotiate for additional displays.
• Submit accurate daily/weekly sales and merchandising reports.
• Achieve assigned sales, distribution and merchandising targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in sales, merchandising, FMCG or retail.
• Own a reliable motor vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout Montego Bay and surrounding areas.
• Strong sales and customer service orientation.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
