Sales Support Specialist – Real‑time Order Assistance

About the role

The Sales Support Specialist provides real‑time phone support to all sales channels, ensuring orders are placed within a serviceable geographic territory and that sales policies are followed. This role focuses on resolving order entry issues, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new order sales escalations from Residential and/or Business Sales teams, resolving roadblocks to order entry.
• Determine real‑time address serviceability and follow business processes, including building new addresses into billing software.
• Maintain and administer actions in order entry databases, ensuring functionality for order entry.
• Track and root‑cause escalations, following business standards and procedures.
• Respond to customer escalations prior to service installation, meeting customers’ needs within departmental guidelines.
• Provide real‑time feedback to sales reps regarding order entry errors.
• Perform beta testing on new sales tools and system enhancements.
• Provide order entry fall‑out support for all sales channels.
• Support new builds by updating customers and sales reps throughout the survey and construction process.
• Contact customers for various campaigns.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast‑paced call‑center environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and solve problems independently.
• Willingness to work days, nights and weekends as needed.
