Vice President – Asset Management & Research

About the role

The Vice President – Asset Management & Research will lead the investment strategy, portfolio construction, and research framework for the Group’s asset management platform. Reporting to senior leadership, this hybrid‑based role in Kingston integrates macro‑economic insights with disciplined portfolio processes to deliver superior risk‑adjusted returns.

Key responsibilities

• Define and guide asset‑allocation decisions across fixed income, equities, alternatives and multi‑asset portfolios.
• Design and implement portfolio construction frameworks for discretionary portfolios and investment funds.
• Oversee performance of all managed portfolios, ensuring competitive absolute and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Ensure compliance with investment policy statements, regulatory limits and internal risk parameters.
• Provide strategic leadership for collective investment schemes, including mutual funds and unit trusts.
• Support business development initiatives to secure new asset‑management mandates.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in asset management, investment research or portfolio management.
• Strong track record of delivering consistent risk‑adjusted performance.
• Deep understanding of multi‑asset investment processes and regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
