Accountant – Payables & Payroll

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant who will manage the full spectrum of accounts‑payable activities, payroll processing and related financial reporting. The role supports the timely preparation of the company’s financial statements and ensures the accuracy of vendor and payroll data.

Key responsibilities

• Process local supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare vendor and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Execute weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Generate monthly audit schedules, financial reports and weekly payables reports.
• Monitor utility payments and other company obligations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual stock counts.
• Support month‑end financial reporting and annual budgeting.
• Provide backup for Treasury and Receivables functions when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent, or ACCA Level 1.
• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or accounts‑payable role.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
• Professional integrity and strong ethical standards.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (reconciliations and reporting).
• ERP/Accounting systems – experience with Business Central is a plus.
