Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position responsible for managing PremierWaste’s billing and collections processes. You will ensure timely invoicing, monitor payments, and support accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and monitor payment status.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Respond to billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with finance and operations teams.
• Prepare regular reports on aging receivables and cash collections.

Required profile

• Strong finance knowledge with practical experience in accounts receivable and invoicing.
• Proven debt‑collection skills, including managing aging accounts and negotiating payment plans.
• Solid analytical ability to interpret aging reports and recommend actions.
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail, integrity with financial information, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
