Actuarial Consultant – P&C Insurance Solutions

About the role

Join Deloitte Consulting as an Actuarial Consultant focused on Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance solutions. You will work on a variety of actuarial projects, performing data analysis, building models, and preparing reports and presentations while advancing your actuarial designation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis, pricing, reserving and valuation for client engagements.
• Develop actuarial models and support capital modelling activities.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with global actuarial teams.
• Learn and apply new tools and technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Progress towards actuarial exams (Fellow of SOA, CAS, Institute of Actuaries, or equivalent).
• At least one year of relevant work experience, including co‑op or internship experience.
• Experience with technical actuarial techniques in pricing and reserving.

Required skills

• Pricing and reserving techniques.
• P&C reserving and capital modelling.
• Knowledge of Solvency II regulatory framework.
• Experience with IFRS 17 implementation.
• Understanding of ILS and catastrophe modelling.
