Agency Production Officer – Contract (Grade 3)

About the role

The Agency Production Officer will support the Insurance & Pensions Revenue Team by managing policy documentation, incentive programmes, and client allocations to drive sales performance across Jamaica.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and document all IL Sales policies and procedures in a manual format.
• Disseminate information to internal departments and industry partners as required.
• Design and launch ad‑hoc competitions and incentives to meet sales targets.
• Review production unit calculations for accuracy and ensure timely payments.
• Initiate claim payments and compile reports for the Insurance Association of Jamaica, actuarial department, and other internal teams.
• Draft Sagicorian rules for early circulation each February.
• Assign unallocated prospects (orphans) to active advisors and manage client termination processes.
• Monitor and distribute unassigned clients across branches and brokerages.
• Allocate policies to active advisors and document unit procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• First degree or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Minimum three years’ experience in the life insurance industry.
• Relevant industry courses are an asset.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word‑processing software.
• Strong creativity, analytical, communication, and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a performance‑driven mindset.
• Adaptability and a positive attitude in a changing environment.
