Audit Associate – Jamaica

About the role

Deloitte Jamaica is seeking an Audit Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team. You will work on audit engagements, applying Deloitte’s cutting‑edge tools and methodologies while progressing toward a professional accounting designation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit testing and risk assessments for client engagements.
• Research accounting standards and industry regulations.
• Participate in client meetings and present audit findings.
• Leverage Deloitte’s audit technology and new tools to improve efficiency.
• Develop analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills through hands‑on experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA.
• Working towards an internationally recognised accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
• Previous audit or related experience preferred, including co‑op or internship experience.
