Audit Manager – Assurance Leadership

About the role

EY Jamaica is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its External Audit team. You will work across the Caribbean region, providing independent examinations of financial statements, advising management on accounting matters, and delivering clear insights to audit committees.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures, focusing on complex and specialized issues.
• Collaborate with clients to plan engagement objectives and audit strategies that meet professional standards and address risk.
• Understand client industries, identify performance drivers, and stay abreast of emerging technical developments.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and optimise assurance processes across multiple clients.
• Monitor engagement team progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Lead, delegate, and mentor a team of seniors and associates, conducting performance reviews and providing training.
• Leverage technology to enhance service delivery and share knowledge.
• Generate new business opportunities and maintain long‑term internal and external relationships.
