About the role

Join EY’s External Audit team in Jamaica as an Assurance Manager, leading audit engagements across the Caribbean region. You will work with diverse clients, provide independent financial statement examinations, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on complex and specialized issues, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Plan engagement objectives and audit strategy, addressing risk and industry-specific considerations.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year.
• Identify opportunities to standardise and optimise assurance processes across multiple clients.
• Lead a team of Seniors and Associates, delivering high‑quality work on time and within budget.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and coach team members.
• Leverage technology to enhance service delivery and share knowledge.
• Generate new business opportunities and stay informed of economic developments affecting clients.

Required profile

• Qualified chartered accountant (ACCA or CPA) with approximately 5‑6 years of audit experience.
• Experience as a senior auditor in a public accounting firm or relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or UK GAAP.
