Business Officer (Fluent Spanish and English)

About the role

The Business Officer acts as the main point of contact for new client inquiries, offering immediate solutions and supporting the Business Department with operational needs, client onboarding and follow-up on client requests. The role covers all departmental processes, ending with collections and client feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new clients, suggest strategic development actions and prepare service proposals
• Follow up on proposals to close sales and assist clients calling or visiting the office
• Maintain an updated commercial database and proposal database, and process client additions, updates and cancellations in the systems
• Keep physical client files up to date (contracts, profiles, proposals)
• Manage the Executive Director's appointment schedule with active and prospective clients
• Support department events, outreach and client visits; handle service pre-billing and assist with collecting outstanding invoices
• Evaluate service effectiveness through client satisfaction surveys to identify new opportunities and improve delivery

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, administrative assistance or purchasing
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field; advanced student or graduate
• Advanced fluency in both English and Spanish
• Willingness to travel to Trinidad, Jamaica and Barbados
