Costing Officer – Junior Accountant (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Costing Officer to join a well‑established organization in Kingston. This full‑time position is ideal for an early‑career accounting professional who wants hands‑on experience in costing, inventory accounting and import‑related finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform costing and inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation of stock.
• Prepare and reconcile accounts, including CIF and landed cost calculations.
• Handle imports and shipping documentation, verifying associated expenses.
• Record general ledger transactions and process invoices.
• Verify costs against supporting documentation to maintain financial integrity.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good numerical and analytical abilities.
• Previous exposure to accounting, inventory, costing or import functions is an advantage.
