Credit & Collections Services Associate I

About the role

Conduent is seeking a Credit & Collections Services Associate I to support the management of delinquent accounts for its Fortune 100 and government clients. The associate will monitor account activity, process payments, and ensure accurate record‑keeping while strictly following established procedures and quality guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor delinquent accounts, identify overdue balances, and track account status in the system.
• Implement collection procedures, accept and record payments, and update data screens to reflect all account activity.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, ensuring balances are accurate and reconciled.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, handling calls and letters to address billing or invoice issues on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, standards, and quality guidelines while performing assigned tasks.
• Perform additional duties as directed, ensuring work is completed accurately and within required timeframes.

Required profile

• Limited prior training or certifications; possesses basic operational and analytical skills needed for the role.
• Works under close supervision, following clearly defined standard operating procedures and quality standards.
• Responsible for the accuracy of own work and adheres to established guidelines.
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and exchanges information and ideas effectively with customers and team members.
