Driver (Level 2) – Multiple Locations

About the role

The National Land Agency is seeking Level 2 Drivers to support its operations in Mandeville and Kingston. The role involves transporting staff, equipment, and mail while ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with agency guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Collect assignments from the Transport Supervisor and execute them promptly.
• Pick up and deliver mail from Central Registries or the Operations Unit to designated locations.
• Complete daily log books for each assignment and submit them to the Supervisor.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, including engine oil and brake fluid levels.
• Report any mechanical issues and coordinate garage repairs as directed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date vehicle documentation (insurance, fitness, registration) at the start of each day.
• Securely lock and return vehicles to the designated site each day.

Required profile

• High School or Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant driving experience.
• General Driver’s Licence covering motor cars, trucks (≥3000 kg laden) and a PPV Licence, with a clean traffic record.
• Customer‑service exposure is advantageous.
• Defensive driving training or qualifications are a plus.
