Manager – Plan Examination & Certification

About the role

The National Land Agency is seeking a Manager to lead the Plan Examination & Certification unit within the Surveys & Mapping Division. Reporting to the Senior Director, the role ensures that all survey plans comply with the Land Surveyors Act and that documents are securely managed.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the examination of survey plans to verify compliance with the Land Surveyors Act.
• Maintain the security and proper handling of plans and accompanying documentation.
• Coordinate with the Senior Director and other division staff to ensure timely certification of plans.

Required profile

• Valid Land Surveyors’ Commission and Practicing Certificate.
• At least five (5) years post‑commission experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years of technical surveying experience.
• General knowledge of prescribed applications and CAD software.
• Certificate in Supervisory Management with five years of experience, including three years in a supervisory role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software for plan preparation and review.
