Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is looking for a Relationship Manager to join its Corporate Banking team in Kingston. The role focuses on growing and retaining a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients, driving cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities, and ensuring sound credit practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and profitably grow the corporate and commercial banking portfolio within the assigned market area.
• Create and execute individual market and sales plans to acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with the Credit Solutions Manager to analyse financial statements, recommend terms, pricing and covenants, and prepare viable banking proposals.
• Maintain ongoing relationship management, gather client feedback, and provide tailored business and financial advice.
• Monitor and manage credit risk, conduct annual client reviews, and document action plans in a client relationship plan.
• Refer clients to appropriate business partners to meet broader advisory needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies, Finance, Economics or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum five years of banking experience, including corporate lending and loan administration.
• Strong knowledge of the Jamaican corporate and commercial banking market and key industry sectors.
• Excellent analytical, communication and relationship‑building skills.
