Restaurant Manager (Maitre D) – Hospitality Leader

About the role

ROK Hotel Kingston, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager (Maitre D) to lead its food and beverage operations. The role involves developing high‑performing teams and delivering outstanding guest experiences across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling and performance of all restaurant and bar outlets.
• Lead, coach, motivate and develop team members to achieve service standards and operational goals.
• Oversee budgets, control costs and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, health and safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Plan and execute banqueting and special events, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and service standards across all outlets.
• Analyze operational and financial performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage inventory, minimize waste and maintain cost‑efficient operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business management or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar management role within a hotel, restaurant group or banqueting operation.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and team development skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
