Sales Promoter – Retail & Hardware

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Promoter to join our retail and hardware stores in Kingston and St. Catherine. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right Sherwin‑Williams products and delivering a high‑quality shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the Sherwin‑Williams brand and provide product information across decorative, automotive and industrial lines.
• Mix and tint paint to match customer specifications.
• Coordinate colour‑chip supplies for the Color Studio and inform sales representatives of unavailable items.
• Assist customers in person and by phone, identify needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Generate new sales opportunities through distribution of brochures, flyers and promotional booths.
• Collect market feedback that may impact product strategy.
• Complete mandatory training courses in ONSET and HR Cloud.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Hardware Sales Supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 CXC passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Professional appearance and adherence to the Sherwin‑Williams Code of Conduct.

Required skills

• Paint mixing and tinting.
• Familiarity with ONSET system.
• Experience using HR Cloud platform.
