Social Media Content Creator

About the role

MangoErrands is looking for a dynamic Social Media Content Creator to travel across Jamaica, visit approved vendors and turn those experiences into engaging video and photo content. You will be the face and voice of the brand, showcasing how senders can direct funds to specific vendors and encouraging community participation.

Key responsibilities

• Visit vendor locations, capture photos, videos and written stories, and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp Status.
• Plan, host and promote vendor spotlights, pop‑up events, launch days and community activations, acting as on‑camera host.
• Design and execute promotional campaigns (discounts, bundles, referrals) with clear sales targets and track their performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, coordinating shoot schedules and ensuring ongoing collaboration.
• Maintain a content calendar, balancing new vendor features with recurring promotions.
• Monitor engagement metrics, redemption rates and sales lift, reporting results to optimise future campaigns.
• Represent MangoErrands at markets, community events and vendor sites as the visible brand ambassador.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for travelling around Jamaica and discovering local vendors.
• Comfortable and engaging on camera, able to host interviews and live promotions.
• Strong storytelling ability to turn vendor experiences into compelling social media content.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience creating short‑form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels or Facebook Stories.
• Basic photography and video editing skills.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
