Social Media Coordinator

About the role

Amber Group’s media arm, Amber Media, is seeking a dynamic Social Media & Content Coordinator who can blend creativity with on‑the‑ground storytelling. You will be responsible for producing timely, engaging digital content while actively participating in events, interviews, and trending conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Create, curate and publish engaging posts across platforms such as Reels, TikTok, Shorts and others.
• Attend events, activations and assignments to capture stories, photos and short‑form videos.
• Conduct short interviews, vox‑pops and on‑site content pieces.
• Edit photos and videos for social‑first distribution.
• Write compelling captions, headlines and social copy.
• Identify trending topics and content opportunities.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to boost engagement.
• Collaborate with the wider media and creative team while maintaining Amber Media’s brand voice.

Required profile

• Experience in media, digital publishing, journalism, entertainment or a related field.
• Comfortable working both behind and in front of the camera.
• Strong storytelling instincts and ability to approach and interview people confidently.
• Fast‑paced, field‑oriented work style with willingness to attend assignments outside the office.

Required skills

• Proficiency with short‑form video creation and editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Photo and video capture skills.
• Familiarity with Canva and AI‑based content tools (advantage).
• Strong writing ability for social copy.
