Supervisor - Cash Receipting

About the role

We are seeking a Supervisor for Cash Receipting to lead the Cashier Unit within our Revenue Operations and Payment team. The role ensures accurate processing of client deposits, miscellaneous payments, and daily cash reporting while supporting continuous improvement of payment procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and direct the activities of the Cashier Unit in collaboration with the Manager.
• Supervise collection, processing and reconciliation of client deposits, cheque payments and other miscellaneous payments.
• Prepare and balance daily cash reports, lodge cash/cheques and submit them to the bank.
• Monitor workflows, document findings and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching, performance feedback and conduct evaluations.
• Identify training needs, design and deliver training sessions, and facilitate professional development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and investigate any financial irregularities promptly.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and contribute to the unit’s annual budgeting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience supervising a cash handling or payments team.
• Strong understanding of cash management, deposit processing and banking procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical abilities.
