Vice President – Asset Management & Research

About the role

The Vice President – Asset Management & Research will lead the investment strategy, portfolio construction and research architecture for the Group’s asset‑management platform. Reporting to senior leadership, this hybrid role based in Kingston will shape multi‑asset investment decisions and drive superior risk‑adjusted returns across all managed portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Guide asset‑allocation decisions across fixed income, equities, alternatives and multi‑asset portfolios, ensuring alignment with mandates and market conditions.
• Design and implement portfolio‑construction frameworks for discretionary portfolios and investment funds.
• Oversee performance of investment portfolios, targeting competitive absolute and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Ensure all portfolios comply with investment policy statements, regulatory limits and internal risk parameters.
• Provide investment leadership for collective investment schemes such as mutual funds and unit trusts.
• Integrate research insights and macro‑economic analysis into the investment process.
• Support business‑development initiatives to acquire new asset‑management clients.
• Drive the development of innovative investment products and strengthen multi‑asset capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading investment strategy and portfolio construction in a multi‑asset environment.
• Strong track record of delivering consistent risk‑adjusted performance.
• Deep understanding of asset‑allocation, research integration and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership ability to influence investment thinking across a diversified financial group.
