Vice President – Asset Management & Research

About the role

The Vice President – Asset Management & Research will lead the investment strategy, portfolio construction and research architecture for the Group’s asset‑management platform. Reporting to senior leadership, this hybrid role in Kingston combines strategic oversight with hands‑on guidance of multi‑asset portfolios, ensuring disciplined, risk‑adjusted performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and guide asset‑allocation decisions across fixed income, equities, alternatives and multi‑asset portfolios.
• Design and implement portfolio construction frameworks for discretionary portfolios and investment funds.
• Oversee performance of all managed portfolios, ensuring competitive absolute and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Ensure compliance with investment policy statements, regulatory limits and internal risk parameters.
• Provide investment leadership for collective investment schemes, including mutual funds and unit trusts.
• Collaborate with affiliated entities to centralise research capabilities and align investment thinking.
• Support business‑development initiatives to secure new asset‑management mandates.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in multi‑asset portfolio management and investment research.
• Proven track record of delivering superior risk‑adjusted returns.
• Strong understanding of macro‑economic analysis and its integration into investment decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior investment teams.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
