Audit Senior (Government & Financial Services)

About the role

Deloitte Jamaica is hiring an Audit Senior for 2026. The role designs and completes audit solutions for a diverse range of clients, mainly in Government & Public Services and Financial Services, acting as a trusted advisor on reliable financial information. It involves continuous learning and exposure to different businesses and complex challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Help lead, plan and execute high-quality audit engagements from start to finish, assisting clients with complex accounting matters and identifying business and financial risk.
• Leverage audit tools and new technologies.
• Develop and mentor junior audit team members.
• Work alongside colleagues globally and across the Caribbean and Bermuda region.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary qualification (e.g. ACCA).
• An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA), or on track to complete designation requirements by 2026.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant audit experience.
• Preferred: experience serving clients in the public sector/government and/or financial services (insurance or banking).
