Business Officer

About the role

The Business Officer serves as the primary contact for new client inquiries, providing immediate solutions and supporting the Business Department with operational needs, client onboarding, and follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new clients.
• Prepare, send and follow up on service proposals to close sales.
• Manage the Executive Director’s appointment schedule with active and prospective clients.
• Maintain updated client and proposal databases, including physical client files.
• Support department events, client visits and outreach activities.
• Handle service pre‑billing and assist with collection of outstanding invoices.
• Evaluate service effectiveness through client satisfaction surveys to generate new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, administrative assistance or purchasing.
• Travel availability to Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM systems.
